A take cut off mid-sentence
The beat had more words than the engine's length allows. Shorten the line or split it.
Every take films for as long as its words need, up to the engine's ceiling (15 seconds on most, 8 on Veo, 30 on Seedance 2.5). A line that needs longer than that gets cut.
The fix
On the Script step each beat shows "~Ns to say" and turns red when it will not fit. Cut a few words, split the beat in two, or move to Seedance 2.5 for the long ones. The Film button refuses a beat that will not fit before charging, so if a take was cut it was filmed before this check existed; refilm it after trimming.
Trail-offs count
Ellipses and full stops add pauses. Seven "…" in one line add several seconds.
