Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Hireabble Inc. wants VidRocket to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the page, or turn off animation. This statement says what we aim for, what we do, what is not there yet, and how to reach us when something is in your way.

1. What we aim for

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance, the Accessible Canada Act and the European Accessibility Act. The website (vidrocket.ai), the web editor and the account pages are in scope. The iOS app follows Apple’s accessibility guidance and supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion where the platform provides them.

2. What we do

  • Keyboard: every control on the website can be reached and used with the keyboard alone. Focus is visible, and dialogs and sheets keep focus inside them while open.
  • Screen readers: pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields. Buttons that show only an icon carry a text label. Images that carry meaning have alt text; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Colour and contrast: text meets the AA contrast ratio against its background, and colour is never the only way something is shown — status also has a word or an icon.
  • Motion: the site honours the “reduce motion” setting of your device; background animation and transitions are turned down when it is on.
  • Zoom and text size: pages work at 200% browser zoom and with larger text without losing content or controls.
  • Captions: the videos VidRocket makes can carry burned-in captions in every style we offer, and the marketing videos on our own pages are muted by default with their words on screen.
  • Forms: errors are described in words next to the field, and required fields are marked.

3. What is not there yet

We know about these and are working on them:

  • The timeline in the web editor is a drag-and-drop surface. Clips can be trimmed and reordered from the keyboard, but some precise moves are still easier with a pointer.
  • Board canvases (the storyboard and moodboard views) are visual by nature; every item on a board can be opened and edited from a list view, but the canvas itself is not fully navigable by screen reader.
  • Videos generated by the AI do not yet include audio description.
  • Some older analysis pages have tables that read best on a wide screen.

4. How we check

We test with keyboard-only navigation, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA on Windows, browser zoom to 200%, and automated checks (axe) in development. We review new pages against WCAG 2.2 AA before they ship, and we re-test the main pages when they change.

5. Tell us

If any part of VidRocket is hard or impossible for you to use, email accessibility@vidrocket.ai and say which page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use. We answer within five business days and treat a blocker as a bug to fix, not a feature request. You can also ask for any content in another format.

6. Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise the matter with the relevant authority in your jurisdiction, such as the U.S. Department of Justice (ADA), the Accessibility Commissioner (Canada), or your national body under the European Accessibility Act.

This statement is reviewed at least once a year and whenever a major part of the Service changes.
