Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and Hireabble Inc., the company behind VidRocket. It spells out the uses we do not allow on the website, the Studio desktop app, and the iPhone app. The short version: make things you have the right to make, do not hurt or deceive people, and do not use the tools to get around anyone’s safety measures, including ours.
If something here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms win. Words in this policy have the meanings given in the Terms. The Trust & Safety page explains how we enforce it.
1. You are responsible for what you make
Every prompt you type, every file you upload, every reference you attach, and every output you keep, publish, or post elsewhere is yours to answer for. The AI models do the work, but you chose the inputs and you decide what to do with the result. Review outputs before you use them.
2. Illegal content and conduct
Do not use VidRocket to create, upload, store, or share content that:
- breaks any law that applies to you, to us, or to the people shown in it;
- sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor in any way, real or generated (this includes “aged-up” or stylized depictions and any attempt to make a child appear adult);
- depicts non-consensual sexual activity, or sexual or intimate imagery of any real person who has not agreed to it in writing;
- promotes, plans, or instructs terrorism, violent extremism, or organized crime;
- facilitates fraud, phishing, scams, counterfeiting, or the sale of illegal goods or services;
- is defamatory, or discloses private information (addresses, documents, financial or medical details) about a person without a lawful basis.
3. Adult content and adult products
VidRocket makes advertising. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube all refuse adult advertising outright, and the AI models behind these features refuse to generate it, so this is a line the Service cannot usefully cross for you. Do not upload, generate, or publish through VidRocket:
- nudity or partial nudity, exposed or barely-covered genitals, buttocks, or breasts;
- sexual acts, or imagery whose evident purpose is sexual arousal or suggestion;
- pornographic material of any kind, real or generated;
- adult products — sex toys, fetish or bondage gear, and adult novelties — including tasteful studio photography of them. This is a category rule, not a judgment about how the photograph was taken.
Swimwear, underwear, activewear, and intimates advertised the way a clothing retailer advertises them are fine, as are fitness, beach, and body-care subjects. The line is nudity and sexual purpose, not skin.
Uploads are screened automatically and refused before they are stored. Repeatedly trying to upload content this section prohibits will get the account suspended.
4. Real people, faces, and voices
Several features turn a photo, clip, or recording of a person into new media: animating a still, generating a talking creator, placing someone in a new scene, matching or cloning a voice. These rules apply whenever a real, identifiable person is involved:
- Permission first. Upload a person’s face or voice only if that person is you, or has given you permission that covers what you are about to make with it, including publishing the result. The Media Upload Agreement sets out exactly what you are confirming when you upload.
- No impersonation. Do not make a real person appear to say or do something they did not, whether they are famous or not, unless it is obvious satire or parody that no reasonable viewer would take as real, and even then never in a way that is sexual, defamatory, or used to deceive.
- No endorsements they did not give. Do not put a product, a claim, or a political position in a real person’s mouth without their agreement.
- No minors. Never upload an image or recording of a child for any generative feature, even your own.
- Do not defeat safety checks. The model providers refuse some requests involving real people, public figures, and minors. Cropping, blurring, stylizing, or renaming a file to slip past those checks breaches this policy.
5. Deception and synthetic media
- Do not present AI-generated or AI-edited media as a genuine recording where that could mislead someone in a way that matters: news, evidence, testimonials from people who do not exist, claims about a product a real person never tried.
- Follow the disclosure rules of wherever you post. Many platforms and jurisdictions require you to label synthetic media, especially around elections and advertising. Our publishing tools carry an AI-disclosure flag where a platform supports one; turning it off is your decision and your responsibility.
- Do not use generated creators or voices to run scams, fake reviews, or astroturfing campaigns.
- Do not remove, hide, or alter watermarks, provenance data, or disclosures that a model provider or platform attaches to generated media.
6. Hate, harassment, and harm
- No content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious illness.
- No targeted harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any person, including “jokes” built on their likeness.
- No content that glorifies self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide, or that provides instructions for them.
- No graphic violence or gore created for shock value, and no realistic depictions of violence against an identifiable real person.
7. Other people’s work
Do not upload, reference, or reproduce material you do not have the rights to, including copyrighted footage, music, artwork, logos, and trademarks. Analyzing a public video to learn from it is fine. Recreating it, lifting its footage, or using someone’s brand to sell something is not. The Copyright & Trademark Policy explains how we handle notices.
8. Platform integrity
- No scraping, crawling, or bulk-downloading the Service, its outputs, its public library, or other users’ content.
- No reverse engineering, probing, or attacking the Service, the render workers, or the model providers we use.
- No bots, scripts, shared logins, or multiple accounts to get around limits, free tiers, promotions, referral rules, or credit pricing.
- No reselling access to the Service or wrapping it in a competing product without a written agreement with us.
- No submitting URLs in ways that break the source platform’s rules. You are responsible for the URLs you paste.
9. Publishing and the Gallery
Publishing to the public Gallery, to the community feed, or through the built-in TikTok, Reels, and Shorts connections is always opt-in and always your decision. Everything above applies with extra force to anything public. We screen published items automatically and may remove any item, at any time, without notice.
10. What happens if you break these rules
Depending on what happened we may remove content, refuse a generation, revoke a published item, limit features, suspend or close your account, and where the law requires it or someone is at risk, report the material to the appropriate authorities. Credits spent on content we remove for a policy breach are not refunded. Our enforcement approach and how to appeal are on the Trust & Safety page.
11. Reporting
Saw something that breaks these rules? Use the Report option on any public item, or email support@vidrocket.ai with a link. Reports about someone’s likeness or voice being used without permission are handled first.
12. Changes
We update this policy as the tools and the law change. Material changes are announced in the app and take effect on the date shown at the top. Continuing to use VidRocket after that date means you accept the updated policy.
