Copyright & Trademark Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Hireabble Inc. respects intellectual property and expects VidRocket users to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims that content on the Service infringes a copyright or trademark, how an affected user can respond, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. What you may and may not upload

You may only upload, reference, or generate from material you own or are licensed to use. That includes footage, photos, music, voices, artwork, fonts, logos, and brand names. Using a public video as the subject of an analysis is allowed. Copying its footage into your own render, using a song you have not licensed as a music bed, or generating a creator who wears or promotes a brand you do not represent is not.

2. Who owns what

  • Your uploads stay yours. You give us only the licence in the Terms needed to run the Service for you.
  • Outputs you generate are yours to use, subject to the rights of anyone whose material or likeness went into them, and subject to the model providers’ own terms. We claim no ownership in them. Whether an AI-generated work can be copyrighted at all depends on your jurisdiction and on how much of it you authored; we make no promise about that.
  • The Service itself (software, prompts, scoring rubrics, design, the VidRocket name and logo) belongs to Hireabble Inc.
  • Public creator content we fetch for analysis belongs to its creators and their platforms. We show it for analysis and commentary and claim nothing in it.

3. Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content on VidRocket infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice to our designated agent:

Hireabble Inc., Attn: Copyright Agent
Email: legal@vidrocket.ai (subject line “Copyright notice”)

For us to act on it, the notice needs to include:

  1. identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list if there are several);
  2. the URL or another precise location of the material on VidRocket you want removed;
  3. your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

This mirrors the requirements of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, section 512(c). For Canadian rights holders, a notice under the Copyright Act’s notice-and-notice regime should include the same information plus the date and time of the claimed infringement; we forward such notices to the account concerned as the Act requires.

Incomplete notices slow things down. Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes can make you liable for damages, including our costs.

4. What we do with a notice

  1. We confirm receipt and check that the notice is complete.
  2. We remove or disable access to the material, usually within two business days of a complete notice, and sooner where the material is public.
  3. We notify the user who posted it, give them a copy of the notice (with your contact details, as the law requires), and record a strike on the account.
  4. Credits spent generating material removed under a valid notice are not refunded.

5. Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  1. identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  2. a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  3. your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  4. a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Hireabble may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice; and
  5. your physical or electronic signature.

We forward the counter-notice to the original claimant. If they do not tell us within ten business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

6. Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who infringe repeatedly. An account that receives three valid notices within twelve months, or two for the same work, is terminated, and its remaining credits and subscription time are forfeited. We may terminate sooner for egregious cases, such as uploading entire films or catalogues. Strikes drop off after twelve months if no new notices arrive.

7. Trademarks

Trademark claims work like copyright notices but are reviewed case by case, because describing, comparing, reviewing, or parodying a brand is often allowed. To report a trademark problem, email legal@vidrocket.ai with:

  • the mark, its registration number and jurisdiction (or evidence of use for unregistered marks);
  • the URL of the content and a short explanation of why it causes confusion or falsely suggests endorsement;
  • your contact details and a statement that you own or represent the mark.

Generated ads and creators that use a brand’s name, logo, or packaging to sell something the brand does not endorse are removed. Using your own brand’s product in your own ad is exactly what the product is for.

8. Public creator content and exclusion requests

We fetch public videos and profile metadata from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram to analyze them. If you are a creator and want your public content excluded from VidRocket, email legal@vidrocket.ai with the profile URL and a way to verify you control it. We remove existing material and block the profile from future scans within seven business days.

9. Our own marks

VidRocket, the rocket logo, and VidRocket Studio are trademarks of Hireabble Inc. You may say that something was made with VidRocket. You may not use our marks in a way that suggests we made, endorse, or are affiliated with your content or business.
