Is this an affiliate program?

Yes. We call it the Partner Program because partners make content about VidRocket rather than dropping a link, but the mechanics are an affiliate program: your link, your commission, monthly payouts.

Do I need to be a customer?

No. Any US or Canadian resident can apply; the two-minute signup collects the tax information your country requires. A partner who does use the tool tends to make better videos about it, and partner pricing makes that cheaper.

What does “12 months” mean?

Each customer you send pays you for that customer's first 12 months. The partnership itself has no end date: every new customer starts their own 12-month clock.

How fast do I hear back?

Every application is read by a person, usually within a day. You will get an email either way.

When am I paid?

Monthly by PayPal, $25 minimum, once a commission is 45 days old. Your dashboard shows what has cleared and what is still in the hold.
