Creator analysis

The creators beating you are not lucky. They have a pattern. Read it off their videos.

Paste any creator's profile. VidRocket watches up to 100 of their videos frame by frame, the opening shot, the cut rhythm, the caption timing, what is on screen when attention thins, and writes the pattern down: what they always do, what they never do, and what to test first, each line cited to the exact clip and second. Then it scores your own video against it.

  • reads the frames, not the follower count
  • the whole catalogue, the median not the fluke
  • every line cited to a clip and a second
  • lands on a board you keep and share

Studying a creator by hand takes an evening and leaves you with a feeling. This leaves you with a list.

You have done the evening. Their last thirty posts, screenshots, a transcript pasted into a chatbot, a note that says “they cut faster and use text more”. It is true and it is not enough to act on, because a transcript loses the frames and a feeling has no timestamps.

Watch.

Frames, audio and on-screen text, second by second, across their catalogue. A tool has to actually look at the videos before it can say anything true about them.

Find the pattern.

What repeats across the videos that did the numbers and is missing from the ones that did not. Worked off the median, so one viral fluke never becomes the rule.

Cite it.

Every finding names the clip and the second it came from. You can open the video and see it, which is the difference between advice and evidence.

This is a real board. We pointed VidRocket at our own Instagram profile and left the results where they landed: the pattern cards, the hook list, the checklist, the chat that answers questions about the account. Nothing on it was written by hand. Open it, read it, click on anything. It is read-only and needs no account.

  • Every card is cited to the clip and the second it came from, so you can check it against the video.
  • The board is yours to keep: add notes, drag cards around, write the next script beside the evidence.
  • Share it read-only like this one, or hand it to an editor.

What you get back on a creator.

  • Their hook formula

How every video of theirs opens: the first shot, the first line, how many seconds before something happens, and which openers did the numbers.

  • Their pacing signature

Cut rhythm, how long a shot holds, where they speed up. Read across the catalogue, not one video.

  • Shot structure

Talking head, b-roll, screen, text-only: the sequence they run, and how often they break it.

  • Audio and on-screen text

Music or voice, caption style and timing, what is written on screen and when.

  • A must-do, avoid, test checklist

What they always do, what they never do, and the three things worth testing on your next post, in that order.

  • A chat that knows the account

Ask "which of their hooks would work for a bakery?" and get an answer that cites their clips.

Then score your own video against it.

One number out of 100, built from 5 pillars weighted by how much each really moves a short video, with the fixes ranked by the points each one is worth and the second to make them at.

  • Creator Scan

Paste a profile. It reads the catalogue, not one lucky post, and the maths works off the median so a single fluke never poisons the read. The whole thing lands on a board you keep.

  • Compare

Your video next to theirs, timestamp by timestamp, written as a replication blueprint rather than a verdict.

  • Hook Library

Every opener the scans have found that actually worked, searchable by niche, type and views. Take any of them.

  • Quick Score

Your own video before you post it: the same 0 to 100, the same ranked fixes, each with the second to make it at.

  • Script Remixer and My Style

A beat-by-beat script modelled on what is winning in your niche, written in your voice rather than a generic one.

What it will not do.

It cannot tell you what to make. It has no idea what you are funny about or who trusts you, and it will not make you into the creator you scanned. If you post once a month and you are happy with how that goes, this will not change your life.

What it does is read what is already working for the people in your niche, and what you already made, and turn the gap between them into a list short enough to act on before Friday.

Straight answers.

How is this different from Social Blade, vidIQ or a competitor-tracking tool?

Those read the numbers around a video: followers, views, posting times, keywords. This reads the video. What is in frame at second three, how long each shot holds, whether the caption lands before or after the word is spoken. Two accounts with the same view counts get very different reads here, because they earned them differently.

Is this not what I get by pasting a transcript into ChatGPT?

A transcript keeps the words and loses the video. Most of what makes a short work is not in the words: the cut on the beat, the face before the line, the text that appears while they are still talking. VidRocket watches the frames, so the pattern it hands back includes the parts a transcript cannot see.

Is this just copying?

It hands you the structure, never the words. Their hook shape, cut length and shot order are yours to use; what you say and who you are stay yours. Every creator you admire learned the same way, only slower.

Which creators can I point it at?

Any public profile on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, including your own. The same read works on the account you are chasing and on the account you run, which is what makes putting them side by side worth anything.

What if I disagree with what it found?

You sometimes will. It is built from patterns across the videos we have read, weighted by what has correlated with performance, and every line is cited to the clip and the second so you can check it. It is a second reader with the videos open in front of it, not a verdict.

Do I have to make AI videos to use this?

No. Analysis is its own surface and works on its own. VidRocket also builds AI creator ads and you will see that in the sidebar, but nothing here asks you to touch it.

We only ever read public videos you point us at. Nothing you scan is published unless you share it, and your own uploads stay private to your account.

You already know who is beating you. Find out how.
